Job Description

Senior Fund Accountant, Hedge Funds

Location: Evansville, IN | Hybrid

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Liaising with Auditors and Tax Preparers for Funds
* Reviewing accruals and expense items
* Daily reconciliation of cash balances
* Daily/Monthly reconciliation of investment positions and market values
* Trade processing
* Gathering and processing corporate actions
* Confirming validity of corporate actions and significant price changes with independent source
* Calculation and recording of fees
* Interaction with investment managers and prime brokers to resolve questions and reconciliation differences
* Analytical review of daily and monthly results

What You’ll Bring:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics
* Master’s degree, CPA/CFA are pluses, not required
* 2+ years’ experience in accounting/financial services (hedge funds/fund of funds a plus, not required)
* Willingness to learn new systems, concepts and broaden knowledge in the industry
* Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
* Team player mentality
* Ability to manage shifting priorities
* Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
