Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Build a roadmap for establishing stacks and best practices that allow for rapid prototyping of solutions. Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a STEM subject (science, technology, engineering, math). Must have 4+ years of professional experience with exposure to Application Development, DevOps, Support and System Administration.

Key Functions:

* Work with the development to establish and optimize the CI/CD pipeline using technologies like: TeamCity, Artifactory, ElasticSearch, Confluence, JIRA, GitHub, Octopus Depoy, DataDog, OpsGenie
* Build a roadmap for establishing stacks and best practices that allow for rapid prototyping of solutions
* Maintain stability of tools and applications on the risk team through application and infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting
* Support the existing valuation platforms while identifying areas for improvement and leading migrations to cutting-edge technologies
* Foster strong relationships with the developers and portfolio managers to ensure a consistent DevOps culture

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a STEM subject (science, technology, engineering, math)
* 4+ years of professional experience with exposure to Application Development, DevOps, Support and System Administration
* Experience with configuration and automation tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt)
* Experience building highly automated scalable infrastructure
* Strong coding skills in Python and/or Bash
* Experience designing, deploying and operating solutions in public cloud is a plus (AWS, GCP, Azure)
* Strong coding skills in Python and/or Bash/Powershell is required.
* Establishment and implementation of availability monitoring and performance management infrastructure
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical jargon to various audiences
