About the Job

Security Engineer (Linux Windows Scripting Networking). Would you like to work on complex, technically challenging systems in a “non-corporate” environment with a friendly team of highly skilled professionals that enjoy what they do? You could be joining a technology driven Hedge Fund with multi-billion dollars under management.

As a Security Engineer you will implement new security applications and infrastructure and carry out improvement work, upgrades and maintenance of existing managed services. You’ll also be able to take ownership of BAU related work and partner with 3rd party vendors on support issues, feature requests and licensing. You will help to drive the company’s Cloud adoption when implementing new solutions and ensure clear documentation is in place. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a technology driven environment with lots of training and tailored career development plans.

Based in central London, you’ll be joining a collaborative team within a relaxed and positive work environment where you can enjoy regular social events, such as weekends away.

Requirements:

*Experience of designing, installing and supporting security applications at an enterprise level
*Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Operating Systems
*Good scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, bash or similar)
*Experience with some or all of the following: Anti-Virus, Data Loss Prevention tooling, Endpoint Protection, Access Control Systems, Mail Flow tooling
*Strong analysis and problem solving skills
*Collaborative with strong communication skills
