Security Engineer (Cyber Security Network Firewall IPS/IS VMWare Linux Windows). Hedge Fund that invests in the sports betting markets is seeking a technologist Security Engineer to identity, assess and mitigate against Cyber security vulnerabilities.

This role presents an excellent opportunity to take ownership in a technical role. Your daily activities will include working with development teams to ensure that projects are secure on delivery; implementing and managing technical security controls and owning the cyber security response process. You’ll be working with a great deal of autonomy and will make a real impact on this successful business.

Fantastic offices based in a vibrant area of North London with in-house gym and steam room, games room with pool tables and dart boards, library and free high quality catering (breakfast, lunch, dinner) from the onsite chef.

Requirements:
*Technical experience with penetration and vulnerability testing
*Experience with cloud computing security concepts and service hardening
*Strong technical background in systems and networking infrastructure; Firewall’s, IPS/IDS, VMware, Linux, Windows
*Experience of auditing technical systems and processes
*Collaborative with excellent communication skills

As a Security Engineer you can expect to earn a highly competitive salary (to £90k) plus bonus and benefits.
