Responsible for the idea generation of actionable investment positions, modeling of the companies and management of the investment through the process in collaboration with the traders and PMs. Exceptional academics and buy or sell side experience in this capacity. 5+ years of investing experience.

Our global hedge fund clients are seeking research analysts to join their team in New York who follow a fundamental research approach, have exceptional academics and buy and/or sell side experience in this capacity.

You understand how the markets move, research and write about current trends and have an extensive network to support your findings. This person will be responsible for the idea generation of actionable investment positions, modeling of the companies and management of the investment through the process in collaboration with the traders and PMs.
Desired Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate would have 5-8+ years of investing experience. Experience in commodities, industrials and stressed/distressed situations is a plus. Ability to work in a collaborative team-oriented environment is essential. Candidates should have outstanding analytical and communication skills in addition to strong academic credentials and exceptional writing skills.
