We provide financial and in-kind support including consulting on strategy, fundraising, advising on financial modeling, coaching leadership, and recruiting new talent. We connect promising organizations and people with the goal of facilitating robust communities of practice.
SFE is looking for an analytically minded researcher who has a passion for education and technology. Reporting to the Executive Director, this position involves conducting research on a wide variety of education topics, applying critical thinking skills, and preparing analyses for review. The ideal candidate will have at least two years research experience and a solid knowledge of education technology issues. The role requires someone whose passion for digging into data is matched by a deep interest in education policy.
Curiosity and communication skills are critical, as the Research Analyst will ask questions to determine whether an effort or organization is of interest to the foundation. In addition, the Research Analyst will assist in the due diligence process for potential investments as well as the evaluation of current grants. This role is an excellent opportunity to build analytical skills and to gain exposure to a variety of nonprofit organizations in education.

Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Prefer experience in education.
- Between 3-7 years of related work experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
