Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing high-frequency trading signals.
  • Working with senior traders to analyze the signals and impact on trading behavior.
  • Exploring trading ideas by analyzing market data and microstructure for patterns.
  • Developing tools to research and analyze market data and patterns.
  • Contributing to Tower’s in-house computational libraries for efficient processing of data to generate signals.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s, Master’s, and/or PhD degree from a top-tier university.
  • 1-3 years of data analysis experience in quantitative finance or at a top-tier technology firm.
  • Strong background in mathematics/statistics; past participation in the International Mathematical Olympiad is a plus.
  • Solid data-mining and analytical skills, including experience dealing with a large amount of data.
  • Programming skills in one or more of the following: C++, Python, R, and/or MATLAB.
