A unique opportunity has arisen at a leading hedge fund to work within their technical operations team which spans application support, execution, testing and release. The successful candidate will work closely with development teams across all areas of finance in a rapidly growing new technical area.
You would be making a difference from day one and with such a broad exposure to many teams, would get a fantastic opportunity to get a systematic top level view of a successful hedge fund. Technical Requirements:-
- Unix or Windows background.
- SQL – interrogate databases, queries etc.
- Scripting – python, perl, shell, bash, powershell etc.
- All round technically sound.
Profile:
- Good education in a scientific/numerical subject e.g. Comp Sci (preferable), Maths, Physics, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology etc.
- Top 25 University.
- 2 – 8 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to face off to development teams.
