Job Description

  • Responsible for pricing products to improve the appraisal opportunities within this area.
  • Accountable for documenting daily market numbers, proofs, and tuning across all data types.
  • Assist Senior members on the estimate of the portfolio daily.
  • Perform settlement of Internal Profit and Loss with the overseer records on a daily basis.
  • Oversee monitoring procedures regarding unchanged prices, price challenges and overrides.
  • Assist in incorporation of new systems and aid Operations with ad hoc requirements.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in estimates, fund accounting or fund administration role (ie: Price Testing etc.).
  • Proficiency in programming skills (ie: SQL, VBA, Python) and/or experience with SOPHIS preferred.
  • Experience in a hedge fund/financial institution preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of investment asset classes (ie: characteristics, trading, OTC Derivatives Operations, FX and Derivatives including assessment of products on Bloomberg).
  • Able to identify, assess and make suggestions with respect to internal controls and accounting matters.
  • Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills.
  • Able to multi-tasks while working under strict time deadlines.
  • Problem solver with strong oral/written communication skills.
  • Must be a self-starter and be willing to take on new responsibilities.
