The Role

Platform developer contract role, where you will be responsible for working on a highly automated trading system, using Java and Python. You will be building the platform that enables the investment engines to drive forward daily. You will be working on container based deployments using Kubernetes, Docker and more.

You will work with smart, motivated and inquisitive people, driven by solving a wide range of technical challenges. You will be working within an agile environment, which has a very heavy emphasis on embracing collaboration and using open-source technology.

A financial background is not imperative but, developers are expected to have an active interest and understanding of financial markets etc.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s Degree from a leading university
* Strong development skills in Python and/or Java (ideally 2 yrs+)
* Familiarity with two or more of the following Docker, Terraform, GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP
* Experience with TDD practices
* Excellent communication skills
