Job Summary

Hedge fund is looking for a highly skilled Network Engineering Manager to join their team. Responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and support for their global network infrastructure. Prior team leadership or management experience in addition to Network Engineering experience.

Job Description:

* Responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and support for their global network infrastructure
* Lead a team of Network Engineers to build and support a high performing but stable environment (with a focus on enterprise technologies and security)
* Provide hands-on support and technical escalation for complex problems, and provide guidance to projects, overall best practices, etc.
* Help grow the firms Network and DMZ in addition to introducing new technologies and solutions in order to diminish any potential security risks or threats

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

* Prior team leadership or management experience in addition to Network Engineering experience
* Ability to collaborate with other teams across the firm and strong project management skills
* Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating large network environments
* Advanced knowledge with network virtualization technologies, VPN technologies, Network, transport, etc.
* Experience with enterprise search tools and WAN optimization platforms
* Knowledgeable with load balancers, wireless technologies, and micro-segmentation products
* Familiar with SDN technologies
