Network Engineer / Infrastructure Support Engineer (Cisco Windows). Hedge Fund with multi-billion dollars under management is seeking a talented Network Engineer to join a small team dedicated to supporting the company’s IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities will include performing investigations to network issues; installation, configuration and maintenance of Cisco and Arista routers and switches as well as researching and evaluating new network technologies and designing network solutions to meet business requirements. You will liaise across the business and with 3rd party vendors to resolve issues speedily and efficiently.

Based in Central London, this is an intellectually and technically challenging environment that offers the opportunity to learn from an experienced team of experts, excellent career opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Excellent record of academic achievement, 2.1 or above coupled with good A-level results.
  • Thorough understanding of networking and enterprise network technologies.
  • Experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with configuring and operating Cisco switches and routers.
  • Desirable: CCNA qualification.
