Your new role
The organisation is looking for a Junior Linux and Network Engineer / administrator to help with the increasing Linux estate and Network Infrastructure, also handling coverage within the Infrastructure group.
A main project you will be involved with includes the improvement to the environment and enabling growth and improved stability. You will also be involved with day to day support across all locations.
The successful candidate will be working closely with senior system administrators to further develop the companies environment, and will be expected to provide innovative ideas on emerging technologies and working practices.
What you’ll need to succeed
This role would be ideally suited to a candidate who is communicative and pro-active with a strong mentality with a desire to learn, develop, and grow professionally, within an agile environment. Skills needed include;
- Excellent Linux system management skills, with experience on Red Hat RHEL in an enterprise engineering/design/analysis/implementation.
- Knowledge of directory services and Windows/Linux integration.
- Strong automation and scripting skills Python or Bash.
- Good networking skills, including switching such as VLAN, 802.1q.
- Experience with Cisco ASA/Fortigate.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related degree is required.

This role is paying up to 60,000 with an additional 30-60% bonus for top achieving candidates!
