Support Engineer / Trading Support Client Manager / Infrastructure (Windows Citrix RSA VMWare Microsoft). Hedge Fund is seeking a senior Support Engineer with a broad technical knowledge and team leadership experience.

As a Support Engineer / Trading Support Client Manager you will provide Trading and Executive end-user support within a fast paced financial environment. Responsibilities will include overseeing and managing all desktop computers and PC peripherals; coordination of all hardware deployments and desk moves and resolution of issues with 3rd party applications (Bloomberg, Reuters, other market data). Your role will also encompass management responsibilities; you’ll provide leadership, train / mentor staff, participate in weekly management meetings and have governance of all corporate mobile devices.

Fantastic office based in the heart of West London, professional yet informal atmosphere (casual dress code, sociable).

Requirements:

  • Strong experience of supporting computer hardware and software in a financial environment.
  • Experience of supporting VIP / Executives / Senior Management / Traders.
  • Team leadership experience.
  • Thorough understanding of Windows 7 Desktop OS, Citrix, RSA and VMWare.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite and Active Directory, DHCP, DNS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, pragmatic and able to handle high pressure situations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Degree educated, Computer Science preferred.

As a Support Engineer / Trading Support Client Manager you can expect to earn a highly competitive salary (to 85k) plus bonus and benefits package.
