A leading global hedge fund is looking to hire a Rates / Fixed Income Application Support / Production Support / Trading Systems Support Lead. The Lead with be the subject matter expert for Fixed Income Application Support for the global markets business and also have leadership responsibilities for other asset class support analysts.
Given they are a hedgefund environment strong business knowledge is important and the Lead will develop a strong blend of business knowledge (across multiple asset classes), leadership skills and also continue to hone their technical capabilities in an increasingly automated open-source environment.
Ideal Skills / Experience:
- Rates / Credit / Fixed Income Application/Trading Systems Support Experience.
- Strong underlying Technical Capability – Linux/Unix / Scripting/Automation etc.
- Should have natural leadership capability, comfortable working at a circa VP+ level.
- Should have a solid academic background – degree educated – ideally 2.1 / First Class.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Senior Fixed Income application/systems support analyst / team lead to move into a leading global hedgefund which is continuing to grow in this area, Investment Banking, Trading House or other Hedgefund experience would be applicable.
Whilst the environment at the Hedgefund will be hugely rewarding anyway vastly increasing the individuals business and technical exposure on the buy side, on top of that compensation is very strong with hedgefund bonuses.
