Our client is an up-and-coming hedge fund based in France. Since being founded in 2017, they have grown rapidly, have an excellent track record and currently stand at well over $500m AUM. They are looking for a very motivated and talented individual to join their trading team, reporting directly to the funds founder and CIO.

This is truly a phenomenal opportunity for a recent graduate to work alongside the best in the business and gain the kind of exposure that you would not be able to find anywhere else. This role will go far beyond just taking and executing orders, as your work will have a direct insight on the direction of the firm’s investments. From day one, you will be trained by and work alongside the CIO, who is looking for someone to take under his wing and train up.

As this company is based in Monaco, this will require a full relocation. However, the firm will offer a generous relocation package and support to get you over there. They will pay very well with a top of the market base salary and bonus, and you’ll have the benefits of living in a low tax environment. It won’t be difficult for you to be able to take the short flight back to London on a regular basis!

Responsibilities:

* Execute trades on behalf of the CIO
* In-depth analysis of market prices, volumes and general trends / news
* Use of coding languages such as Python
* Project and ad-hoc work on behalf of the investment team

Attributes:

* Degree educated in a relevant field (e.g. Maths, Physics, Engineering) with a 2:1 grade or higher
* Strong Excel skills
* Ideally, some knowledge of coding languages such as Python
* Highly numerate, logical and analytical
* Knowledge of various asset classes such as Equities, FX, Fixed Income, etc.
* Able to build strong relationships with team members, management, and clients
