Elite technology focused hedge fund is looking for System Reliability Engineers to join their team in a position between developers and ops engineers. This role allows you to work on a wide array of problems, ranging from platform to application, operations to development, and back end to user facing. You will be instrumental in automating away wasteful operational work, as well as working through the full SDLC on projects in your space. This team is responsible for driving emerging technologies and shaping what the firm will use in the future, as well as tackling mission-critical business and operational problems today.

In this role, you will work on a small team with guidance and potential for growth in the direction you find most interesting, whether that be software development, systems engineering, DevOps, or management.

What the team is looking for:

* Bachelor s degree from a engineering program, with a preference for Computer Science
* Systems and platform knowledge (Linux, distributed systems, systems programming, databases)
* Development skills (Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, C++, Scala, PowerShell, etc.)
* Experience with DevOps tooling (Ansible, Chef, terraform, etc.)
* Cloud Knowledge (AWS, Azure, Openstack)
