Job Summary

You will join the Front Office development team to build financial trading applications that will be used for the development of new trading strategies. Ideally, you’ll have a good understanding of financial concepts as well as have a strong understanding of Python, SQL Server, VBA and modern browser technologies. Advanced knowledge of Python.

You will join the Front Office development team to build financial trading applications that will be used for the development of new trading strategies. Ideally, you’ll have a good understanding of financial concepts as well as have a strong understanding of Python, SQL Server, VBA and modern browser technologies.

Technical Requirements:

Advanced knowledge of Python
Strong academic record and a degree with high mathematical and computing content e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Physics from a leading university
A keen interest and understanding of financial markets and instruments
Good relational Databases understanding, ideally Microsoft SQL Server, including query writing, schema design, and performance tuning.
An understanding of risk concepts (VaR, stress testing, greeks) a plus
Familiarity with multiple asset classes (including derivatives), their key characteristics and required static and market data for modelling a plus
