Leading Investment firm are looking to hire a junior PhD quantitative analyst based in the USA.
Role:-
You will have exposure to large data sets to help to develop trading strategies, partnering with traders and software/infrastructure engineers to build, test and implement highly complex pricing models and technical tools that are the roadmap for the desk’s daily trading activities. You will have the opportunity to see the practical application and business impact of the analyses and strategies you are working on.
Requirements:-
- Ph.D. in mathematics, physics, statistics, electrical engineering, computer science, operations research or related disciplines.
- While previous financial experience is a plus, it’s not a requirement.
- Experience working with programming languages / analytical tools crossing such as C/C++. C#, Matlab, R, or Python.
- Experience in machine learning and time series analysis a plus.
- Experience using linear algebra and probability.
- Smart, analytical, creative thinkers who are able to tap into their knowledge of programming and other analytical tools to work with a lot of data and help to identify what is important to the trading desk(s) being supported.
