Job Summary

Hedge Fund, is seeking an Information Security Engineer to join the team responsible for the day to day management of an extensive security infrastructure, including perimeter security. Your role will focus on delivery of new security capabilities, the remediation of operational and security risks, security enforcement and compliance as well as support of investigations and incident response.

Your role will focus on delivery of new security capabilities, the remediation of operational and security risks, security enforcement and compliance as well as support of investigations and incident response. You’ll join a collaborative team securing and hardening Linux environments to support private, public and cloud solutions in a technically challenging, mission critical environment.

You’ll be based in Central London within a friendly and sociable atmosphere with casual dress code and a good work / life balance.

Requirements:
*Experience of deploying private, public and hybrid cloud solutions, combined with a strong understanding of the security controls that should be applied in these environments
*Good knowledge of Linux Security Standards
*Experience of managing enterprise security products such as Antivirus, Data Loss Prevention tools, Endpoint Protection, Identity Management and scripting capabilities both on Linux and Windows platforms
*Python, shell or bash scripting skills
*Excellent communication skills
*Degree educated, 2.1 or above in Computer Science, Security or Engineering discipline
