I am working on an assignment for a Global Head of Market Connectivity and Market Data Technology for a global Hedge Fund in New York.

The organisation seek an individual to assume responsibility for a team of 30+ technology individuals.

The role will involve due diligence of the existing connectivity and real-time market data models, development of a new seamless global strategy for both solutions Development & Support, and its implementation. You will be the Chief Architect for the next generation global Exchange Connecitivity (real time Market Data) and Broker Connectivity platform.

The successful incumbent will be extremely technical with a development background and have an expert understanding of Connectivity, Algo Trading systems; including but not limited to; client connectivity, exchange connectivity, latency optimization, market data, execution, the HFT space (including current market knowledge – technical and business), superior leadership skills consisting of man-management, team / division building, relationship management with global recognised Equities Heads of Business
