World Leading Hedge Fund with Offices based in all Major Finance Hubs is looking for a Data Visualization Expert to it’s Risk Visualization initiatives in Chicago.
You will be working with a Globally recognized development team to to build best in class client facing technology platforms that will integrate with real time trading paradigms across all major asset classes. You will design, develop and deploy new web applications using HTML, Advanced JavaScript, CSS, Tableau and internal tools.
The Hedge Fund would also want considerable input into new ideas/best practice, architectural design and prototyping new ideas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Data Visualization Expert to work with some of the best technologists, Quants and Traders Globally. Bonus can also be 50%-200%.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript using an Object Oriented approach.
- Strong understanding and experience with Tableau.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design fundamentals.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- 5 years experience in HTML / CSS / JavaScript.
- Solid knowledge of the MVC design pattern.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exposure to Node.js, Angular.js and other JavaScript frameworks desired.
- Exposure to C#, WPF/XAML, Perl, SQL, scripting languages are plusses.
- Financial industry experience is preferred.
