Application Support Engineer / Release Analyst / DevOps (Windows SQL Python Perl Bash). Hugely successful Hedge Fund is seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer to join a talented, expanding team that supports developers across the business.

Ensuring the smooth running of research simulations and reports, you will work closely with developers to optimise release and support processes to make them more robust and easier to manage.

This is a hugely varied Application Support Engineer role where you will play a key role in ensuring the continued success of this company’s innovative trading software; supporting trading applications, as well as managing the software release processes.

Based in Central London, this is a relaxed and informal yet dynamic environment that offers an excellent opportunity to advance your career in the highly competitive financial industry.

Requirements:

  • Application support experience.
  • 2:1 Computer Science degree from a top class university.
  • Understanding of SQL.
  • Scripting skills, e.g. Python, Perl, Bash.
  • Experience in a Windows environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

As an Application Support Engineer / Release Analyst / DevOps you will earn a competitive salary (to 60k) plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
