Summary:

We are working with a quantitative hedge fund startup that’s currently looking for DevOps experts that can build and scale their infrastructure, and help determine how it should grow.

The DevOps and Site Reliability Engineers will be responsible for 3 major efforts as the infrastructure grows: 1) the development of the platform including automation, CI/CD, configuration management, and their cloud platform. 2) the data ingestion services that the infrastructure will need to handle. 3) support for the systems as the platform scales. The company is taking advantage of some of the newest technologies and really looking for someone who can come in and help build and move their systems to production level.

Requirements for the DevOps and Site Reliability Engineer:

2-4 years of experience in systems engineering or Devops
scripting and coding knowledge with Python, Shell, and Ruby
strong Linux knowledge
experience with CI/CD/CM (Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins)
Cloud experience (AWS, OpenStack)
