One of Boston’s growing investment management firms is on the hunt for a software developer to join its financial engineering team. Our client manages assets for corporate and public pension plans globally, and works specifically for foundations, endowments, and sovereign funds all across the US. They are in the process of rapid expansion after a recent acquisition, and is looking to grow their base of exceptional employees.
As a part of this group, you will be coordinating with your peers to solve problems that range from quantitative model development, portfolio construction, trading systems, and operational processes. A strong quantitative finance background would be a great asset within this position. Working closely with hedge fund professionals, you will be aiding the firm in its mission to incorporating cutting-edge technology with the financial side of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Strong knowledge of at least two programming languages (Python, Java, Scala, C#, etc.).
- Prior experience developing financial software, front office (trading systems, equity modeling, analytics).
- Strong grasp of financial markets and instruments.
- Exceptional software design and coding abilities across the full stack technologies.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

- Communicate confidently across various levels of management.
