My client, one of the world’s leading High Frequency Trading prop desk is looking for a talented Quant developer to join their award winning Market Making team for a greenfield New Year project.
The successful candidate will work closely with a range of market making professionals including quantitative traders/developers, analysts and senior staff in order to design and develop cutting edge systems on a completely Greenfield project to keep the business at the forefront of its field. The role will also include market data feeds, statistical trading and electronic execution components.
You will be working on the most sophisticated trading platforms; systems built by the most successful development Team in London. Someone looking for that key move to defy their career, this is that opportunity.
The successful candidate will have a degree in a Mathematical discipline or equivalent, and possess in depth knowledge and experience of developing in C++ (UNIX). You MUST have desk aligned experience, typically someone from a derivatives focused desk in a bank, prop shop or hedge fund or equivalent. A background with major platforms such as Linux, Windows and UNIX will also be advantageous.
My client is looking for a track record of achievement both academically and professionally. The candidate will be educated from a Red Brick University or equivalent. A numerate subject would be preferred but not essential. In return and excellent salary and package is available.
