My client is a leading hedge fund operating across multiple asset classes, they are currently looking for a C++ developer to work within their market making team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain connectivity to all of the major European financial exchanges.
- Contribute to market making infrastructure code base.
- Implement new protocol releases for European exchanges.
- Develop market data and order entry code for Options exchanges.
- Work with Traders and IT Support to test and release new features.
- Develop enhancements to assist Quantitative researchers.
Requirements
- C++.
- Linux application development experience.
- Familiarity with networking (TCP/UDP/Multicast).
- Knowledge of Multi-threading pradigms.
- In depth knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Ability to think through and debug problems.
- An understanding of financial markets and instrument types.
- Knowledge of financial market protocols (FIX/FAST/Millennium/UTP/etc).
