A pre-eminent global Hedge Fund is looking for a Front Office Software Developer to join their Information Systems Team based in their London office. The role is an evenly split between back end development and an evolving front end element. The main project currently under way is the customisation of a bespoke Order Management System.
Your New Role
Typical work includes the development and support of all applications used by the trading desks (trade capture, P&L, risk) as well as the compliance and middle office teams. The vast majority of the work is Greenfield based.
The environment is intellectually stimulating and tailored towards productivity; the Development team describes itself as highly passionate about technology and development. This is offset by an excellent after work culture. This application has a web element to it. An interest in Web development is vital. Exposure to HTML5, Angular JS or Bootstrap is desirable.
What you’ll need to succeed
This position would suit someone with an excellent attitude towards performance and quality. Performance is closely linked to the excellent bonus scheme currently operated. Key Skills include;
- C#
- WPF
- .NET
- RDMS and SQL Server
An excellent academic background is essential as well as Front Office experience.
The role is fast paced and will require someone that can juggle various tasks as well as working independently.
What you’ll get in return
This role comes with a 70-90k base salary, including a substantial guaranteed bonus of 30-60%
