Job Summary

Hedge fund is seeking a talented Database Administrator/ Developer to join their team. Must have strong development skills in MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS. Experience working with MS Visual Studio, C#, C++, VBA and Javascript.

Qualifications:

* B.A or M.S in Computer Science
* Thorough understanding of Database Schema, SQL, Query/Process Optimization
* Strong development skills in MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS
* Extensive knowledge coding in raw SQL
* Experience with Powershell Scripting
* Experience coding with c#
* Knowledge of scripting services for ftp/sftp downloads/uploads
* Experience working with scripting data services, web services, xml parsing, generic parsing and exports to txt/csv/xls/xml/html etc.
* Experience scheduling jobs in Windows Server and MS SQL Server

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working with MS Visual Studio, C#, C++, VBA and Javascript
* Knowledge of financial data for portfolio management/trading/accounting
* Knowledge of Bloomberg API, DL, etc.
