My client, a leading hedge fund in London, is looking for an Execution Credit Trader to join their European credit team. The candidate will possess execution trading experience of high yield credit, distressed credit and public equites, from within a hedge fund and/or an investment bank.

Key experience and skills required are:

• Strong trading experience working from within a bank, or a hedge fund.
• High yield credit and distressed credit experience, alongside public equities.
• Trading execution experience in products traded by European credit, including corporate bonds, CDS, convertible bonds, bank debt and equity.
• Strong knowledge of market structure evolution and developments.
• Experience and knowledge of derivatives, and bond pricing.
• Establishes and build relationships across to facilitate achievement of goals and support the momentum of this industry leading technology platform.
• Assist in managing risk and perform detailed PnL reconciliation.
• Proactively identify and effectively manage and/or escalate conduct risk to deliver key customer outcomes.
• Must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or a quantitative field.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and written and verbal communication skills.
