Harrington Starr is working with a global Hedge Fund who are looking for an Business Analyst to join their London office working across a variety of 3rd party applications including Sophis, Calypso and Fidessa within a Windows environment. You will work daily with operational staff across the front office, middle office and back office, supporting systems and acting as the internal point of contact for business analysis tasks within the organisation.

As a Business Analyst you will liaise closely with other IT staff to gather requirements and write specifications for a variety of projects including data and system based enhancements. You will be heavily involved in new releases to 3rd party systems as well as working closely with development teams to ensure bespoke software is functionally accepted into the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside some of the brightest, most talented technologists within the city. My client has exceptionally high standards and you will have experience working ideally within a software environment either supporting or implementing front or middle office software. Experience working with hedge fund applications such as Tradar, Paladyne, EZE Castle would be ideal.

To Be Considered For This Unique Role Of Business Analyst, Windows, SQL, XML, XSLT, Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Hedge Fund, London experience In The Following Is Essential

At least 4 years experience working within application support within financial services or 2 years Business Analysis experience. Degree in Computer Science or numerical subject beneficial. Solid understanding of Windows, SQL, XML, XSLT. Experience and knowledge of business analysis processes. Knowledge of FIX beneficial. Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Skilled at working as part of a team.
