Coordinating overall work plan for US-based fund accounting staff, which includes managing and monitoring work in progress. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. Must have 8+ years solid experience in Accounting or Administrator.

Details

Responsibilities Include:

* Coordinating overall work plan for US-based fund accounting staff, which includes managing and monitoring work in progress

* Providing coaching, training and leadership as necessary to the US fund accounting team

* Reviewing work product prepared by accounting staff including monitoring and pricing of P&L, NAV’s and economic allocations

* Contributing to internal project initiatives regarding new product development, testing and implementation

* Managing and monitoring the timing and quality of client deliverables

* Overall client satisfaction

* Establishing a plan for new client setups, reorganizations and conversions

* Managing and monitoring the external audit process

* Reviewing client financial statements, partner capital statements and other required financial reporting

Skills and Knowledge Desired:

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

* Master’s degree in related area a plus

* CPA a strong plus

* 8+ years solid experience in Accounting or Administrator

* Knowledge of partnership accounting, hedge fund experience a strong plus

* Solid knowledge of US GAAP

* Prior experience with various products including equities, fixed income, repurchase agreements, futures, FX, Mortgages and options

* Solid knowledge of corporate actions

* Solid hands on supervisory experience

* Ability to delegate effectively

* Solid project management skills

* Advanced MS Excel knowledge

* Analytical mind and ability to problem solve

* Ability to work under pressure and manage tight internal and client deadlines

* Excellent communication skills, including written, listening and presentation abilities

* Excellent attention to detail

* Excellent client relationship management skills
