About International Equities:
The International Equities team is responsible for the daily trade confirmation of international equities, options, FX, CFD’s, and actively traded swaps. Members of this team are also educated in depth on FX markets in order to help facilitate in monitoring and reducing the firm’s foreign currency exposure.

Roles & Responsibilities:
An International Equities analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Reconcile all international equities, options, CFD’s, and FX transactions on a daily basis prior to the market close.
- Assist in reconciling Asian/European FX and Futures trades daily for teams based in the U.S..
- Verify and reconcile all positions back to the Prime Brokers.
- Follow up and ensure settlement of all European trades.
- Coordinate between Portfolio Managers/traders and outside counterparties (Prime Brokers, Trading, Sales, Settlements, Client Service, Risk, Treasury, Legal and Compliance) to resolve trade related issues in a timely fashion.
- Review and Process European voluntary and mandatory corporate actions and interface between PBs and the Trading desk on position implications.
- Monitor and reduce foreign currency exposure that is attributed to PnL, exposure on ADRs, and dollarized swaps by executing FX transactions.
- Responsible for the execution of spot and forward FX transactions in order to facilitate the accurate settlement of securities transacted in NDF markets.
- Middle Office Trade Support – Working with portfolio managers/traders on trade bookings, trade verification, corporate actions, PnL as well as technology and legal related issues.
- Managing Securities Data Maintenance during European hours including setting up new securities for various asset types.
- Potential exposure to and involvement in Stock Loan functions.
Desired Skills and Experience
Personal Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have:
- BS or BA in finance, business, math or related fields.
- 3-8 years relevant experience in a financial institution or hedge fund.
- Strong time management skills coupled with the ability to efficiently prioritize.
- The candidate must have high attention to detail, be organized, work independently, and have strong decision making skills. Strong problem solving skills are a must.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Bloomberg or Reuters knowledge is preferable but not required.
- Knowledge of international markets, corporate actions, futures, FX and OTC products is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
