Leading global hedge fund is seeking an experienced MIS reporting analyst for their New York office primarily focused on data analysis to create reporting and metrics to further drive the investment business.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Creating of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for the Office of the CIO.
- Assists in the oversight, maintenance and management of IT Procurement process.
- Provides assistance and review of data accuracy, timeliness and completeness of core IT datasets (timesheets, projects, market data, etc.).
- Ad-hoc reporting and projects as required.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of IT/Finance related experience.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (finance, business administration, computer science) preferred.
- Strong analytic, quantitative and problem solving skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret large data sets and graphically present data (Excel, Visio, etc).
- Skilled in MS Office with expertise in Excel and Powerpoint (a must).
- Experience with Apptio, ServiceNow and HTML a PLUS.
- Detail oriented; Demonstrates thoroughness and strong ownership of work.
- Strong team player with a willingness to help others.
- Excellent communication skills.
