We are seeking an Origination Analyst to assist with the the fund’s outreach and origination efforts. The candidate will be involved in most of the facets of the investment process from investment screening, origination, performing all levels of due diligence.

The candidate should have fluency in English, be comfortable on the phone and have the necessary maturity to be able to speak with C-level management (CEO,CFO).

This opportunity will allow the candidate to learn the structured and distressed investment business. With compensation tied to performance, this opportunity offers truly unlimited financial upside for an aggressive and energetic candidate.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Reaching out to public companies, investment banks and law firms to generate deal-flow.
  • Attending industry conferences and events to build relationships that can generage deal-flow.
  • Coordinating transaction flow with Origination Associates, VPs etc..
  • Understanding the fund’s investment criteria and screening for new opportunities.
  • Ad-hoc general hedge fund operations.

Candidates from NY / NJ / CT strongly preferred. Unfortunately. we are currently unable sponsor for an H1-B visa nor accept candidates without permanent work authorization.

This is an ENTRY LEVEL position, but we will also consider a candidate that has experience with PIPES, REGISTERED DIRECTS ETC will be considered for a more senior position.

Desired Skills:

  • Recent graduate – 2014, 2015 ONLY.
  • BA/BS required.
  • Aggressive and energetic.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks / priorities.
  • Required maturity to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Strong self discipline and sense of ownership.
  • Knowledge of SEC filings and financial statements a plus.
  • Previous financial sales experience a plus.
