  • Lead operational due diligence meeting and spot abnormalities or inconsistencies at meetings with note-taking.
  • Interview and evaluate investment managers for operational risk.
  • Build relationships and collaborate on cross-functional teams.
  • Interface with colleagues from other practices and regions on assignments that reflect the client’s broader business issues.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate is confident, yet flexible. They should have strong communication skills and be able to write reviews and conduct conference calls. Additional qualifications include:
  • 2+ years of experience in a hedge fund conducting operational due diligence reviews.
  • Additional 3-5 years of experience in related areas, such as auditing or fund administration work.
  • Strong product knowledge and in-depth knowledge of best practice and hedge fund workflows a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
