My client, an entrepreneurial asset management firm, with offices in the US and HK, are opening an office in London. This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished Operations Analyst to support front office as they hire and grow.
For this opportunity, Operations Analysts will come from an asset manager, a hedge fund or an investment banking environment with solid middle office experience supporting Portfolio Managers & Traders across the full trade life cycle for international Equities, Options, CFDs, FX and actively traded swaps.
To be considered for this role, candidates MUST come from a like for like role supporting portfolio managers and traders booking trades, confirming trades, ensure trades are settled, P&L reporting, transaction reporting and reconciliation, extensive liaison with Prime Brokers, cash management, corporate actions processing, securities data maintenance and will have prior experience liaising with internal teams such as Trading, Sales, Settlements, Client Service, Risk, Treasury, Legal & Compliance who are based in the US and HK.
It is envisaged over time, through the build out of the London office, this role will evolve as the most senior member of the operations team elevating this role in the medium to long term future.
Candidates will demonstrate an inquisitive mind and will be accustomed to working in a fast paced and dynamic environment which rewards talent through recognition and increased responsibility.
It is ESSENTIAL candidates will demonstrate strong ability to work in a standalone role covering all the above experience coupled with advanced Excel skills as well as having a 2.1 degree (or above) within a financial or mathematical discipline.
