Our top Hedge Fund client is seeking a Distressed Debt Sourcing Analyst to effectivley negotiate with creditors to source and purchase unsecured bankruptcy claims and other distressed securities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and purchase unsecured Chapters 7 and 11 bankruptcy claims and variety of other distressed and high-risk fixed income securities.
  • Negotiate with creditors against competitors to secure purchase for the fund.
  • Conduct research on debtors and creditors to assist in developing market intelligence and short-term / long-term marketing strategies.
  • Market the firm’s products and services through heavy telephone work.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Recent or impending college graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Ideal candidates must be interested in a career in sales / marketing.
  • Highly motivated, high energy, Type A’ personality.
  • Personality traits: Street smart, tenacious, aggressive, thick skinned.
  • Successful candidates will have a strong desire and motivation to succeed.
  • Former collegiate athletes encouraged to apply.
