Job Description

*Reporting to Head of Middle Office Pricing and Valuations

*Oversee the P&L across all product types-Credit, Equities, Futures, FX, Rates and Derivatives.

*Supporting Portfolio Managers & Execution Traders.

*Prepare daily P&L summaries for Portfolio Managers through price verification, position reconciliation, and overall P&L analysis of the portfolio

*Monitor and analyze the portfolio for inaccuracies in the live pricing and risk

*Develop ideas to improve current valuation methodologies

*Resolve/ reconcile P&L issues raised by front office

*Develop and test applications and pricing models

*Special Projects

*Reviewing and approving month end valuations

Job Requirements

*2-4 years as a Middle Office Analyst at a Hedge Fund or Bank

*Great Communication Skills- This Position Requires Extensive interaction with Front Office, Operations, Treasury, Risk, Legal/Compliance and Accounting

*Have a detailed understanding of the portfolio, the assets the firm trades, and how they are valued.

*Excellent Excel Skills

*Strong Background in Credit Products

*CFA a Plus

*Strong Valuations and Pricing Background
