Job Summary

Responsible for researching various markets and opportunities in the power industry. Develop economic models and analyze transactions. 5+ years relevant experience including principle investment experience with energy private equity firm.

Our client is a Private Equity fund, its affiliates have committed to energy infrastructure transactions and developed a deep pipeline of power and energy investment pportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Researching various markets and opportunities in the power industry
  • Developing economic models and analyze transactions
  • Lead underwriting, performing due diligence, negotiations and closing of power and energy transactions, under direction of senior management
  • Drafting and presenting oral and written materials to senior management and investors

Qualifications

  • Strong undergraduate academic background in business, finance or engineering (preferred); MBA from top tier program preferred
  • 5-8 years relevant experience including principle investment experience with energy private equity firm
  • Superior analytical, finance and quantitative skills including robust capital asset modeling experience;
  • Experience leading deals
  • Due diligence experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills (internal and external)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
