Our client, an investment company located in Boston, is searching for a Senior Private Equity Accountant to join their team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: supporting investor relations; quarterly US GAAP basis reporting; capital calls; understanding and documenting investment transactions; annual tax basis book preparation; working with Finance Managers, Directors and VP’s on projects to enhance the product of the team, department and firm; cash management; and responding to LP requests. The ideal candidate will have: 2-4 years accounting experience; excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects with the highest attention to detail; CPA preferred; strong interpersonal skills with capacity to interact with all levels; and a creative problem solving ability and sound judgment.
